Dear Packwoods,

Well, I got good news and bad news for you. The good news is I finally got around to making a video as you requested. The bad news is you are not going to like it.

In all candidness, I tried to avoid publishing negative content around your product. I tried reaching out directly over multiple mediums, giving you the chance to fix things and provide product worth sampling.

Furthermore, this is not how I usually operate, as I always try to be real and honest with my readers, giving them a raw general consumer’s experience. However, being that we had a previous line of communication open, I figured you would jump on the opportunity to ensure a good experience for any customer of yours, especially one who intends on sharing their experience with the world.

With that being said, as I delve deeper into the cannabis industry, this all becomes par for the course. Your lack of pride in a product and lack of urgency to make things right is sadly similar to many of your competitors. I feel like it is just as bad as the cannabis companies that are nothing more marketing recycling pictures, never able to deliver on a product or similar to cannabis organizations who are all talk and lack basic communication skills.

I have seen success, taking pride in my work and owning mistakes, both the ones I make and others’ mistakes too. Owning the mistake means listening, being sympathetic, applying de-escalation techniques when needed, IE providing good customer service as well as providing a solution.

Good communication is also crucial. You don’t need to pick up every call, but it doesn’t hurt to return calls and texts. But what the hell do I know? I am just a pot-smoking writer writing a weed company a dear john letter.

Oh, I forgot one other thing. It is essential to learn from mistakes, like using a plastic jar for cannabis flowers. A plastic jar will never keep the flowers fresh and make the best cannabis in the world garbage. Nameless genetics made the same mistake where before that misstep, their marketing was so on point; I felt they were inline with Alien Labs.

Nevertheless, the best marketing can’t always save you. For example, I love the roll your own kit idea. I think it is a fun way for a pre-roll company to pivot into flowers. However, I was very disappointed to open the plastic jar to be greeted with flowers I don’t even want to make a tincture out of.

I found the flowers to have the fragrance of pickled pink fairy farts and to be drier than the Sahara Desert. Though, I feel like I am rambling.

Goodbye Packwoods. I am taking the kids and going to my mother’s.

Regards,

Zerofux The Cannabis Connoisseur
